August 25 Songtext
von Kenneth Norum

It′s the last day of summer
The evening sky turns red
There's a change in your presence
Something′s left unsaid

The autumn leaves are coming early
With the dark time of the year
It always comes with changes
Will you leave me at the pier

Your hair is waving in the cool wind
Only strangers passing by
I watch you pass through the turnstiles
Was this our last goodbye

I take a walk along the harbor
Too restless to sleep
There's nightlife in the distance
Where all the lovers meet

I try to reach you by midnight
But you won't reply
Another hour, still no answers
Was this our last goodbye

It′s the last day of summer
The evening sky turns red
There′s a change in your presence
Something's left unsaid

Your hair is waving in the cool wind
Only strangers passing by
I watch you pass through the turnstiles
Was this our last goodbye
