Great Expectations Songtext
von Keely Smith,George Greeley

When we first met
We had great expectations
A plan for the future
That began with a kiss
For when you′re in your lover's arms
You dream such wonderful things
Your imagination has wings

I can′t forget
All those great expectations

Is love meant to blossom
Then fade like a rose?
If we lose the paradise
The wondrous life we planned
My heart will never understand

Is love meant to blossom
Then fade like a rose?
If we lose the paradise
The wondrous life we planned
My heart will never understand
