archetype Songtext
von Karla Songbird

archetype Songtext

I learn my lessons from the same
Type of man
And God just laughs like"Why can′t she understand?"

There's a good chance
His hair has darkened with time
Knows how to run plays
From the defensive line

And I
Feel like I′m having
De ja vu
Why
Is it always some
Version of you?

You're my favorite
Archetype
To teach me 'bout
The things I
Need in life

You hold the mirror
And I grow a spine
Until the next chapter comes
And there′s another one

Let me guess
You have got
Green or hazel eyes?
Some rugged outdoor sport?
Yeah
That′s just my type

Something else tells me
That you know
How to fight
And I might end up in
Your truck bed tonight

And I
Feel like I'm having
De ja vu
Why
Is it always some
Version of you?

You′re my favorite
Archetype
To teach me 'bout
The things I
Need in life

You hold the mirror
And I grow a spine
Until the next chapter comes
And there′s another one

If you're a foot taller than me
That is fine
I′ve got some growing left
To do in this life

And I
Feel like I'm having
De ja vu
Why
Is it always some
Version of you?

You're my favorite
Archetype
To teach me ′bout
The things I
Need in life

You hold the mirror
And I grow a spine
Until the next chapter comes
And there′s another one
