Love Came Down Songtext
von Justin Bartlow

In a dark and desperate world
And with hearts so cold and bare
Still a light is faint ahead to rescue all
In compassion from above
You stepped down to be with us
In Your plan to pay the debt of every heart

Love came down
Burning like a fire
Darkness into day
Love poured out
Sweeping through in power
Rushing like a flood into my soul

With Your stripes our healing starts
And with nails salvation′s near
But a cross would be the cost to conquer death

Love came down
Burning like a fire
Darkness into day
Love poured out
Sweeping through in power
Rushing like a flood into my soul

The whole earth trembles
The darkness flees
There is no power You can't defeat
No grave can hold You
Three days release
The light of heaven awakened me

When love came down
Burning like a fire
Darkness into day
Love poured out
Sweeping through in power
Rushing like a flood into my soul
