Nothing to Keep it Closed Songtext
von Jun OKUNO

The room is the same
The air isn′t
People outside are moving
That's all

I didn′t plan this moment
I don't resist it either
There's no signal
No reason to keep it closed

I open the window
Nothing dramatic
Just enough space
For things to move

I open the window
No expectation
If something changes
I don′t name it

I′ve waited before
It didn't help
Now I act
Without calling it a choice

I open the window
No explanation
The room adjusts
I let it

I open the window
I stay where I am
If this is clarity
It′s sufficient

No release
No shift in mood
Just alignment
That's it

I open the window
Still the same street
Still the same sound
Just less resistance

I open the window
Nothing opens wide
It doesn′t need to
