One leaf drifts down through the fading light,
I walk a path where the world feels right.
The city hum is far away,
My thoughts dissolve into the day.

No one here to hear my sound,
Footsteps whisper on the ground.


Soft air shimmers in amber hue,
This quiet trail feels born anew.
No wilderness, but peace instead,
Where memories and shadows tread.

The breeze it speaks, so faint, so near,
A wordless voice that only I hear.

A tiny flame begins to rise,
Like wings that tremble in the skies.
It beats within the silent air,
A pulse that says, "I′m still aware."


The hills begin to softly breathe,
Leaves keep time beneath my feet.
A gentle rhythm, calm and wide,
I keep on walking, slow inside.
