Your hands are softly shaking
Like a leaf in evening breeze
Your tired voice is fading
Whispers songs with no release
I blow, the shining bubble floats
It gleams and carries all your fate

The room smells faint of pain and silence
Footsteps echo loud on stone
Laughter feels like empty shadows
That no passing time atones
My brother bows his head so low
And fear lies heavy on my chest

The bubble shines in colors bright
Like your laughter, like your fight
All those pictures in my mind
How they fade and slip through time


I′m smiling though it cuts so deep
I hide the sorrow deep inside
Days fly like blank and weightless pages
I play and act as if I'm fine
At times a burning rage breaks out
I scream but don′t know where it goes

The bubble slowly drifts away
Like the hope that could not stay
It glides so soft, so frail, so small
As if no one sees at all

Now still you lie within your bed
No breath remains, and time has fled
The shadows weigh like blocks of stone
And I must cry my tears alone
Yet deep inside I feel a spark
A piece of you stays in my heart

The bubble's vanished from my sight
Perhaps it lives in endless light
Your soul drifts softly, far yet near
Forever loved, forever here

I'm blowing bubbles in the air
For all the people lost in care
They soar so high, so thin, so fine
