College Town Songtext
von Jon Robert Hall

It was food, girls, and football games
Looking good and staying out late
Life was smooth, sweet, just right
In a college town it was simple as just throwing
Rocks at the trains, drinking beers on our trucks
It was never too serious

No responsibilities at the university
Something ′bout that life sounds good to me

We were living life on loud and nobody turned us down
We were raised up by the crowd and making our hometown proud
Those glory days we had it made on holy campus ground
So take me back to my college town

Wake up late, the party's here
Drinking games and breakfast beers
Been wearing those damn jeans for three days straight
We made bonfires late at night
Kissing girls and picking fights
Wondering where the hell we′ll be ten years from now

Woah, no responsibilities at the university
Something 'bout this life sounds good to me, yeah

We were living life on loud and nobody turned us down
We were raised up by the crowd and making our hometown proud
Those glory days we had it made on holy campus ground
So take me back to my college town
To my college town

Tailgates and painted faces
Good people going crazy
I can hear that game day crowd

We were living life on loud and nobody turned us down
We were raised up by the crowd and making our hometown proud
We were living life on loud and nobody turned us down
We were raised up by the crowd and making our hometown proud
Those glory days we had it made on holy campus ground
And years like that go by so fast but man they make me proud
So take me back to my college town
To my college town
My college town, yeah
My college town, woah
