Find You Songtext
von Jon Langston

Find You Songtext

I had some bad habits
Drinking ′til I see the sun
Couldn't ever have just one
The hard truth is I was good at it
Doing just fine on my own
At least that′s what I thought

When I was sinking in my problems
I was hitting rock bottom
'Til they buried me six foot down
Didn't know what I was needing
Never knew that feeling
′Til you picked me up off the ground

I had to give up that bottle, put it back on that shelf
Do something different instead of hurting myself
So sick and tired of the same old hell I′ve been through
Oh, I need you, yeah
Before your love, I wasn't living right
But you gave me reason for the rest of my life
I shed that part of me and said goodbye
Did what I needed to do
I had to lose me to find you

Came out of nowhere
It′s like you were heaven sent
I ain't been the same since
First time somebody cared
Reached down and took my hand
Gave me a second chance

When I was sinking in my problems
I was hitting rock bottom
′Til they buried me six foot down
Didn't know what I was needing
Never knew that feeling
′Til you picked me up off the ground

I had to give up that bottle, put it back on that shelf
Do something different instead of hurting myself
So sick and tired of the same old hell I've been through
Oh, I need you, yeah
Before your love, I wasn't living right
But you gave me reason for the rest of my life
I shed that part of me and said goodbye
Did what I needed to do
I had to lose me to find you

I had to give up that bottle, put it back on that shelf
Do something different instead of hurting myself
So sick and tired of the same old hell I′ve been through
Oh, I need you, yeah
Before your love I wasn′t living right
But you gave me reason for the rest of my life

I shed that part of me and said goodbye
Did what I needed to do
I had to lose me to find you
I had to lose me to find you
