The Beatitudes Songtext
von John Michael Talbot

Blessed are the poor in spirit
Theirs is the Kingdom of Heaven
Blessed are those who mourn
They will be comforted

Blessed are the meek
They will inherit the earth
Blessed are those who hunger and thirst
Righteousness shall be theirs

Blessed are the merciful
They will inherit mercy
Blessed are the pure of heart
They shall see God

Blessed are the peacemakers
They are the children of God
Blessed are the persecuted
Theirs is the Kingdom of Heaven

When He saw the crowds
He went up the mountain
His disciples gathered around
He taught them again and again
