I just bought a house and I′ve realized that
I don't know how to fix anything
And I, my dad also didn′t know how to build or fix anything
But he would never admit to it
He would just try to do it, whereas
I just immediately write the check and it gets done
And it gets done right


Because that's the one thing, too
If I have kids, I'm not going to build anything for them
I′m going to pay to have it done
Because I′m surprised I'm still alive
With all the stuff my dad put together for us to play on
I don′t know what kind of suck-ass swing set you guys had growing up
But our swing set sucked, right?

Because every time we swung on it
One pole would come right out of the grass
'Cause your dad would do such a crap job cementing it in
You′d actually swing on it, then see the swing set above you
Bees and wasps would always come out of that top tube
'Cause your dad forgot to put the two white caps on both ends
And I was going, what′s this bag of white caps?
So we don't get stung, dad!
I'm sick of going to the allergist
