Don′t hide, I can see through your hands to your eyes
Take your time, I've got all night
You say I wouldn′t understand, when all was said and done
I don't mind, I can at least be your audience of one

It's 2am, but just know, I′m here to stay
I won′t have the answers to fix the way things are
And I can't speak for anybody else

I fear all of this is running you out of breath
And into the ground, just trying to find a place to rest

And your life like a sinking ship
And the compass you hold so dear
No longer makes sense
