Whirls and it clatters
A slender arrow
It spins on its axis
Relentlessly back to

Climbing the stair
Your name in my mouth
The bathwater swaying where someone got out
You in between
Your voice on my voice
Head thrown back laughing
Against all the noise


My compass heart
Tics and it stutters
Its engine art
To pull and to shudder
Along to the feeling of

You
Ablaze with the sound
Your hand in the lake
The light on your eyelashes
Sat like a snowflake
You holding that ring
Your feet on my floor
The shape of your back as you turned to the door
