My parents sent me away
To a dude ranch in the mountains
Beaver′s was its name.


We slept in small log cabins
Sometimes under the stars
Fleas, ticks, and mosquitoes--
Smell'a shit from the old horse barn

I hate horses
All my friends drew horses
Never looked that free to me
Scared and crazy as can be
