If everyone here could look up under their seat
You′ve all been given a gift, but the gift's not from me
If you′ll open the box so everybody can see
It's a fast-ticking clock sitting down at your feet

That our lives are moving in slow motion

Is there not a cause to get you up on your feet?

I know there's hope, but it may

We live in a time when no one's caring to speak
About the things we believe and the God that we seek
Where is the correction we made from the truth that we tweaked
To fit the verses we strayed with the best of technique?
′Cause we've all been going through the motions
And this is our moment of devotion

Will you be proud of who you've been when you are asked?

And what we′ve been given, we're given as tests
So what will we make of it all?
