Spring, Spring, Spring Songtext

Spring, Spring, Spring Songtext
Oh, the barnyard is busy, in a regular tizzy
And the obvious reason is because of the season
My nature′s lyrical with her yearly miracle
Spring, spring, spring
Ah, the henfolk are hatchin' while their menfolk are scratchin′
To insure the survival of each brand new arrival
Each nest is twittering, they're all babysittering
It's spring, spring, spring
It′s a beehive of budding son and daughter life
Every family has their playin′ in due
Even down in the brook, the underwater life
Is forever blowin' bubbles, too
Every field wears a bonnet with some spring daisies on it
Even birds of a feather show their clothes off together
The sun′s gettin' shinnery to spotlight the fannery
Spring, spring, spring
Slow but surely, the turtle, who′s enormously fertile
Lays her eggs by the dozen, maybe some are her cousins
Even the catamount is not lost a dat-amount
It's spring, spring, spring
From his aerie, the eagle with his eagle eye
Gazes down across his seagull beak
And if fixing his lady with a regal lie
Screams, "Suppose we set the date this week?"
Every male little mallard honks a heart-rending ballad
From the stream where he sloshes with his web-foot koloshes
He gurgles brimmingly, "We′ll get along swimmingly"
It's spring, spring, spring
Little skylarks are larkin', see them all double parkin′
Cuddled up, playin′ possum there behind every blossom
Even the bubbling is merrily wobbling
It's spring, spring, spring
Hear them sigh, those unhappy hippopotami
What a waiting problem mars their joy
From my top to my bottom, my anenome
Makes it hard to tell a girl from boy
Yes, a wee spring discloses that it′s all one supposes
Waggin' tails, rubbin′ noses, but it's no bed of roses
If all the stuff you find can settle a porcupine
Who longs to cling
Keeping company is tricky, it can get pretty sticky in
Spring, spring, spring
And the obvious reason is because of the season
My nature′s lyrical with her yearly miracle
Spring, spring, spring
