Shakedown Songtext
von Jake Emissions

There was a shakedown
Feel what it′s torching
A breakdown
Of everything standing
All around
We tore that room apart

I was feeling
Kinda moody
Steering
Like a tube is sprayed white
With my amp timed

Soundcheck started little past four
Loaded in gear through the back door
Plugged in, started playing loud as hell
Sound guy said, "Hey, turn it down, man"
I obliged 'cause I′m a nice man
But inside I was saying, "What a fucking nerd"

The walls started shaking
Ground started quaking
Hey, alright
People started moving
We were really grooving
Hey, alright

We took the stage with a fast rhythm too
Banging our heads, swaying that room
I couldn't help but think we needed more
So I turned around to crank that ten
Chairs started flying, glass shattering
A riot brought this building down

The walls started shaking
Ground started quaking
Hey, alright
People started moving
We were really grooving
Hey, alright
