A couple burdens and addictions that he struggled with
He was friends with everybody, that was part of it
Too many paths to split
He wished he was a superhero so he authored it
He was good at giving glory to who authored this
More than passion for the music, it was purpose to him

More than accolades or money, it was therapeutic
Singing ′bout a lot of things he wouldn't speak upon like
How he makes his mama cry ′cause he ain't never home or
How his girl will be on edge when he don't show he care
He was there but never there like he weren′t really in himself

All he urged for was for people to find peace in something
