Yet I′m afraid of approaching sounds
The vision of palaces from below
I can almost taste the freedom
There's violence to behold before it′s dark again

I see the calm before the storm
Despair holds on to me like a shadow
In time, you force me underneath
The voices and the dreams you have shattered


I see the skies so clear
And it's effortless to breath
Like the air's embracing me
Never ending cycle stops to mark your journey′s end
It is just like the stories told to me
And you take all this wealth for granted
Averting your eyes from the rest
But damage is all I see
I couldn′t imagine a life without fear
Floating light as a feather
Dancing away free when you're done for the day
And know that time will cover up your sins
