Do I sound like a broken record when I always talk about my friends?
I′d like to think that I could write volumes & volumes on them
Those books' bindings will fall apart
But the stories will be held together in our hearts
Stories of the past, who we were and what we′ve done
Plans for the future, who we'll be and what will come
Because I know that this is just the beginning
But I've already lived an awesome life
It′s not to say that heartaches haven′t come my way
It's that I′ve had people there for me
People who've cared for me
And to them I owe so much more than I could ever give I wouldn′t be who I am without these people here
And say what you will, but I won't let them down
I′ll do whatever it takes to return the favor
To have an open heart and open arms
To be selfless for a moment
When someone else needs me to be there for them
When they can't make it on their own
To hold them in one piece
When they are falling apart
And we'll put each other back together again
