Behind the Alps Songtext
von Imperivm

I crossed Spain, France and the Alps
To defeat the strongest army in the world
Twelve thousand horsemen and our elephants
At the gates of the capital of the world
The journey was long and full of traps
We fought the Celts and the mountain tribes
We walk in the in the cold and on the heights
But my soldiers followed with bravery

And then, final the swords honor and blood
United we crossed the Alps as a flood
Four battles against the evil but their
Commander was a feeble

Listen the fight (Arrows) (?)
Flee the knight (Darkness) (?)
See the light (Shadows) (?)
Running in the night from behind the Alps

They called us barbarians and invaders
But Scipio and Sempronius were not enough
Many thousand men lost their lives
Against the force of my warriors

Down in the river near the groves
Flowed the blood of the enemies in droves
Four epic battles one after the other
Side by side brother and brother

Hannibals name, in the Alps will resound
Until another day another day will rise
Our feat will remain in history
And their defeat, our greatest victory

Down in the river near the groves
Flowed the blood of the enemies in droves
Four epic battles one after the other
Side by side brother and brother
