Striving to recognize and to remember,
Pulled out of peaceful dream into disaster —
First irritated scream will be the last one.
Highly unstable shell about to shatter,
Resuscitated shape regaining matter,
Spreading the seared wings, set up to live on,
Breathing a second wind into oblivion.

Rock to rock to rock — to build a mausoleum,
Seeking shelter from this boiling rage,
Set the clock to tell when we withdraw our genome
From the code of the coming age.
