The Alchemist Songtext
von HuDost

Make gold out of lead
The Alchemist said
But how do I do it, I cried?

The outer is inner
And inner is outer
The gravity is center inside

Make the outer as inner
The inner as outer
Then make the two into one

The outerly passive
And innerly active
Will turn from the moon to the sun

How can I do this, I asked of the Alchemist?
How can I make gold from lead?

Take your desires
Alchemical fires
So the form can be shaped

All of your actions result from attractions
So offer repulsions he said
Impulsive actions
Can come from attractions
You can′t make a sun out of lead

All of your organic self ...?
The Alchemist said with a smile

All scared to die
Though goodness knows why
Its bound to after awhile

You'll ...? it enough
Its dangerous stuff
Oh, you wait and see

You think its for you
That I do what I do
But its not
Nor is it for me

La, la, la, ha, ha, la...

To make gold out of lead
Is useful He said
For others besides you and I

You′re a slave as you are
But better by far
To serve the whole on high

The Alchemist smiled
Like a sugar fed child
A devlish glow in his eyes

Turn your desire
To gold for the higher
And free your prisoner inside

High-i-i-i
High-i-i-i
High-i-i-i
High-i-i-i
