Marvelous beauty unscarred
As time itself, carved into form


A night so clear and wondrous
You can see the fire ripple through the stars
And ignite the ground below
Darkness diminishes
Blinding fog engulfs the frozen landscape
Leaving only giants to hide the passing sun
No malevolent deception
A sight to behold

Mere images of a dream, so distant, so beautiful
Will it ever become real
Its roots grab a hold of me, I want it, take me there

The vision so clear, but reality pulls the other way
A reality so bitter, so deafening, a hold so strong
Its very air a rushing fire that surrounds me
Stealing my breath, casting time into the void
It′s hard to feel close to you in a place so dissimilar
As I close my eyes and try to dream
