King Under the Mountain Songtext
von Herc

Come; sit by me my friend
Memories awake as I stare into your weeping eyes
Please forgive my words and deeds
In the end gold and silver seem to lose their gleam

Deep beneath these old halls
Lies the heart of the true king
Under the mountain
Deep beneath these old rocks
Lies the heart of the Lonely Mountain
The Arkenstone!
The Arkenstone!

Don′t be afraid of me
I'll soon fly to the halls up high and greet my fathers
And now my friend farewell
We shall meet again over the eternal skies

Deep beneath these old halls
Lies the heart of the true king
Under the mountain
Deep beneath these old halls
Lies the heart of the Lonely Mountain
The Arkenstone!

Deep beneath these old halls
Lies the heart of the true king
Under the mountain
Deep beneath these old halls
Lies the heart of the Lonely Mountain
The Arkenstone!

Oh I feel so cold, oh I feel so weary
And lonely deep within me I know my time is near
Ohh... farewell
