A long time ago
A woodcutter and his son
A strong blizzard and not a shelter

Warm, safe, they spent the night
Both had time to talk
They′d never done this
The time was right
Their father saved their souls

"My son, I believe that now
Is the time for you to take a wife
My life will not be eternal
I start to feel the weight of old age
And you need a partner
So you won't be alone"


While sleeping
The son
Felt the father′s throat
Then a strong wind
Opened the door
A woman with ropes
Around her back
A flying man

With frozen breath
She killed the old man
And said to his son
"You are still young
Never regret
What happened here
Or you'll die"

A year later on
A rainy day
He saw a woman from the window
Barred her in, away from the rain
Love invaded their souls

She was looking
She sought for the heat
She hated summer
She found relief
Only in the cold wind
Power and joy


This was the one
Lady he spoke to her
The promise was broken
And as if life
Was saved by crying
In the willows there
She disappeared
