Night skies ablaze I feel so small!
Betray the sunlight embrace the nightfall!
The firmament my chrystal ball
I gaze into the stars to realize
We′ve lost it all!

We 've learned to cover our ears to mother nature′s screams
And we've been taught to close our eyes to all her help wanted signs
We've lost our capacity to foresee to forestall as it seems


See the forests turn to sand!
Once precious gifts in the palm of our hands!
Witness oceans turn to dust!
We′ve lost this war we gambled on trust

And one day when skies will fall we′ll have our curtain call!
And I wish upon the stars to wake up far away - from it all

We call ourselves "homo sapiens" in all modesty
Drink from the poisoned well like we always would
While intelligence speaks wisdom listens yet we're deaf!
Is it good to be smart? - too smart for our own good?
