Exile Songtext

Exile Songtext
Many years
slowly shaped the shores
of this untrodden land,
deeply lone and starved.
Centuries of denial
swallowed the light of the moon.
The omens in the sky
flooded my eyes with ...
Solitude, transcending myself,
I feel my heart, it is bleeding
In a cage,
where birds of hope are locked.
Here, the crows they flying free,
round above my head.
They foretell
the rising of a soul pure as blood
and the end of a reign.
The king has fall,
coughing crimson
on naked floors.
Lies,
Greed,
self consumed.
Eyes
can′t
behold.
The truth, blinded
by hunger
of power and pride.
But what throne could replace the standing of myself in a dusk
So royal and so rich?
Before greatness of life, I shall remain
uncrowned.
slowly shaped the shores
of this untrodden land,
deeply lone and starved.
Centuries of denial
swallowed the light of the moon.
The omens in the sky
flooded my eyes with ...
Solitude, transcending myself,
I feel my heart, it is bleeding
In a cage,
where birds of hope are locked.
Here, the crows they flying free,
round above my head.
They foretell
the rising of a soul pure as blood
and the end of a reign.
The king has fall,
coughing crimson
on naked floors.
Lies,
Greed,
self consumed.
Eyes
can′t
behold.
The truth, blinded
by hunger
of power and pride.
But what throne could replace the standing of myself in a dusk
So royal and so rich?
Before greatness of life, I shall remain
uncrowned.
