No recollection of the recent past

Gravel filling all your cavities

Smothered
By the compost of life
Crushed
By the weight of the earth
Retching on worms and flies

Frantic
Panic aftermath

On the surface can hear
Muffled squeals from your open mouth


Insects and vermin emerge
While the shovel pours another pile of dirt
Crawling and chewing on flesh
As you try to take another breath
Asphyxiation
Oxygen depleting from the brain
Degeneration
Convulsively twitching in this last domain
