1962 Songtext
von Grass-Show

So you′ve been looking for the satisfaction
You found me want a little piece of action
And you came all this way
You finally broke away from your old playground
You wanna try a little merry-go-round
Well you came the wrong day

Give it up, come back in 1962
It will be completed when I want it to
And you will be amused in 1962
But as of now it's only ′61

The world is pushy and you dare not fight it
And made you have to smell the kids' old diapers
On this warm sunny day
(Diapers on a warm and sunny day)
Well there is nothing I can do to help you
You will get nowhere if you try to argue
I'm the law around here
(I could have you arrested)

Give it up, come back in 1962
It will be completed when I want it to
And you will be amused in 1962
But as of now it′s only ′61

So you wanted to feel enchanted
But I know when you came here
You took far too much for granted

Give it up, come back in 1962
It will be completed when I want it to
And you will be amused in 1962
But as of now it's only ′61

Come back in 1962
'Cause it will be completed when I want it to
And you will be amused in 1962
But as of now it′s only '61
But as of now it′s only '61
You heard me
Yeah as of now it's only ′61
