Rope Dancer Songtext
von Geike

Silent as a meadow on an Indian summer′s day
Easy as a count to three
I see you slip away
My eyes are wide open
I can see fire and I am awake
The circus started moving
But I'm way too far behind
To hear the brutal noise of waking
Nothing I can do
So I decide to enjoy the lively colours they are making

Appropriate to look like a horse
With clowns a-playing soldier on its back

Rope dancer
I will break your fall
I′ll be right on time
To do a trick and disappear

I'm waiting for you to come down
Your seat's already warm
Oh master of my joyful ceremony

Drums, walls and a rowing of eyes
Oh dear the wire you walk is on fire

Rope dancer
I will break your fall
Oh rope dancer
I will break your fall

I′ll be right on time
To do a trick and disappear

I will be on time
I will break your fall

Those clowns are playing soldier on its back

Rope dancer
I will break your fall
I′ll be right on time
To do a trick and disappear
Rope dancer
I will break your fall
I'll be right on time
