I haven′t slept in days
I haven't gotten out of bed in weeks
My friends tell me to go out and meet someone
But I still feel like I′d be cheating
Like a widow after loss
But I can't mourn something that I haven't come to terms with as gone
They do have a point about not drinking alone though
So maybe I′ll just try a bar and see how it goes
But what if I do meet someone
I don′t even know how to be social anymore
For Gd's sake, I don′t even know how to seem happy anymore
Maybe I didn't give myself enough time to heal But scars can be cool
Open wounds though
Open wounds are nasty
So I guess we′ll let the night diagnose
How far along I am in the healing process
But I guess the first step to healing is admitting the wound exists
So the fact that I'm even acknowledging
That the healing process exists
Is a good sign
No matter how the night goes, right??
