About Thought It Was a Drought (Commentary) Songtext
von Future

Thought it was a drop, the first song, the opening song
When I originally did the song
I laid the vocals a total different way
And then when Metro got through producing it
He took a few of my vocals and he rearranged it
And that′s the way we got
That's how we came up with the title "Thought It Was A Drop"
And I′m saying this as part of the song

I'm like, "Thought it was a drop
Thought it, thought it was a drop
Thought it was a drop, we pour up Actavis"

So it's just like the intro to "Dirty Sprite 2"
And um, it was a song like I was saying
Like I didn′t arrange, I just made the music
And I let them tell the story
Like as far as how they heard it as a, as a, as a consumer, as a fan

You know what I′m saying?
So it was like, um, I just laid the vocals down
Even with the song, how it's arranged
Him and Esco, they put the whole thing together
So for that to be number one, "Thought It Was A Drop"
The intro to "Dirty Sprite 2"
Um, even when I listen to it now, it sound like the intro

It feel good
