Black Bush Songtext
von Freeman

Do you wonder where the clown man sleeps
On the barrier reef?
Do you wonder how the woodpecker
Makes a hole in the tree?
Do you hear the sound the hootala makes
From the forest land?
A chirping toady from the toady tree
The anaphibicua

Ooh, the flowers in the garden
Ooh, the jewels in the sea
What joy, the baby now is cresting
From the black bush
(Shantsa Kona)
From the black bush

Do you wonder how the chipmunk jumps
From stone to stone?
Do you wonder about the buzzy queen bee
In her dominion?
Have you heard the call of the big nil thrush
Or the western creep?
Muddy tracking from the common cow
And her milk so sweet

Ooh, the flowers in the garden
Ooh, the jewels in the sea
What joy, the baby now is cresting
From the black bush

Ooh, the flowers in the garden
Ooh, the jewels in the sea
What joy, the baby now is cresting
From the black bush

(Shantsa Kona)
From the black bush
