Go Songtext
von Fred Jerkins

My future′s right in front of me
I don't want the left, door on the right paralyze to make a choice
Held captive by the fear in me
So I stand still, close my eyes and listen to Your voice

You remind me how You′ve kept me
Through dangers seen and unseen, my shelter in a storm
I can feel Your spirit moving in me
Building up my faith, giving me the strength to just go

I'm pressing towards the higher call
Lord, even if I have to walk alone, I'll go
Forget what′s done, I′m moving on
Wherever You lead me, I'm willing to go

Through the rain (go), through the pain (go)
As long as You′re with me, I know that I can go
After this life, I shall wear a crown
And when it's my time, I′ll be ready to go

I know how rough this road will be
My heart is pure, I can endure the weight of this cross (ooh)
Now I embrace my destiny (mm)
But to get a reward, I'm pretty sure that I may have to suffer loss

All I can do is trust in His word
As I go through the fire, I will not be burned
Every struggle, every trial only makes me wiser (wiser)
And I′m ready to go

See, I'm pressing towards (pressing towards) the higher call (the higher call)
And even if I have to walk alone (I'll go)
Forget what′s done (forget what′s don), I'm moving on (moving on)
Wherever You lead me, I′m willing to go

Through the rain (go), through the pain (go)
As long as You're with me, I know that I can go
And after this life, I shall wear a crown
And when it′s my time, I'll be ready to go

I want to know Your will for me
I′ll be faithful to Your word and I'll follow Your directions (ooh)
And I trust You with my destiny (ooh-ooh)
And where Your spirit leads, Lord, I'm willing to go

Go
Oh, where I can go
Ooh, oh Lord
I′ve been through so much pain (so much pain)
But I know, I know, my God
He′ll make a way, oh yes, He will (oh yes, He will)
Oh, oh

Through the pain (through the pain)
Yeah, see, I was going insane
But God, He made a way (He made a way)
Yes, He did, yes, He did, yes, He did
You go through the fire, You go through the pain
But on the other side, there's a place (yes, yes, yes)

There′s a place You can go
Thank You, Lord (thank You, Lord)
Thank You, Lord (thank You, Lord)
Oh, oh, oh

Oh, oh, lord
Good God, oh
Yeah (yeah)
Go, go, go, go
Go, go, go, go
Go, go, go, go
