A Glade Somewhere Songtext
von Forest

Past shadows dark and bare
There is a glade somewhere
We′d go there just to lay
Through summers leafy days

Come the winter, she has gone
I wish I'd never met her
Oh when will I forget her

I still go there now and then
Think I am with her again
Maybe you have been there
Tell me have you seen her

Today I went that way
Past empty browns and greys
The quitness chilled my face
The stillnes filled the spaces

Come the winter, she has gone
I wish I′d never met her
Oh when will I forget her

Turn away and wonder home
Take the same old road alone
Maybe she still lies there
Tell me if she cries there

Past shadows dark and bare
There is a glade somewhere
We'd go there just to lay
Beneath the summer skies

Come the winter, she has gone
I wish I'd never met her
Oh when will I forget her
