Harsh Femme Songtext
von Flexing

What do you see when you look at me?
A child′s eyes, hands, and teeth
Expectations caving under the weight of femininity
I keep forgetting small pieces of me
Believing in the lie of our incompetency
Forfeiting my agency
When I know who ate the apple from the tree

Bite your bitter tongue
Keep your hands in your pockets

Questions, questions I never even asked
Answering questions raised in your head
Questions, questions sticking in your jaw
Assuming ignorance, assigning a flaw

What gave you the notion
Who gave you the right
Told from the outset this is not your fight

You see yourself in everything
Less knowledge than ego
And faith in masculinity
But I am tired and don't want your blessing
I will cut off your helping hand
I am my own savior

Bite your bitter tongue
Keep your hands in your pockets
