Transmissions Songtext

Growing colder, feeling older
I lost my way somewhere around the shore
Filling out now, and singling out loud
I don′t remember this place anymore

Where cobbled streets lay beneath a layer of insanity
Where men in suits were taught the rules of tricking all humanity
The disconnected signal that is thought of as profanity
Is the only reason that is keeping me from leaving

This world I never knew before I grew so old
I'd ask but I know the answer′s never getting told
Unsure, but I know to let go
Unsure, but I'll show you the door, the door

Cause life's so strange now, just can′t work it out
Much better off when ignorance was bliss
The water′s rising, all hope's declining
The other side of the pond says it all worth the risk

But when you′re on your own do you not see that it's a tragedy?
These overzealous ego′s just reflect the truth fatality
That even though one can overcome the nationality of being human
It's a consumers answer to truth

This world I never knew before I grew so old
I′d ask but I know the answer's never getting told
Unsure, but I know to let go
Unsure, but I'll show you the door, the door

Unsure, but I know to let go, to let go
Unsure, but I know to let go
