Winter Darkness Songtext
von Eternal Fire

Out of the distant cries
Of voices from the withered trees
You hear steps behind
On the darkened snow of your dreams

The breath of winter greets you
Tears your skin
Your soul is torn within
By scorching flames of sin

Your mind takes a walk
Amongst the trees
That never
Talk
The horror of the vivid dream
Takes hold
You scream, You scream

In vain, no sound is heard
Your lungs were filled with snow
A long, long time ago

The Winter Darkness, The Winter Darkness

The hollow ice of frozen streams
Resonating with your screams
Until it breaks in 90 pieces
Fracturing of your sickened mind

In dark forests hide
Rest your body, mend your mind
Tormented hollowed soul
Despair creeps in winter′s cold

Your mind takes a walk
Amongst the trees
That never
Talk
The horror of the vivid dream
Takes hold
You scream, You scream

Shards of ice
Cover your eyes
Melt your desire Like Snow
A Long Time
Ago
Your eyes were closed
But no more!

And you open your eyes wide
But Eternity troubles your mind
You have frozen a moment in time
Where the wintersun ever will shine

The Winter Darkness, The Winter Darkness
The Winter Darkness, The Winter Darkness
