I was always told that the world was a dangerous place
You should never let your true colors show
Unless you want them to know your real face

Still I want to believe
All hope has left me

While I wallow in self pity
And curse at those more fortunate than me

In my final days, I find
Truth in destined isolation and yet
(Nothing makes a difference)
But it′s far too late to save
All the broken and forsaken, and yet
I will fight until my dying breath

They all sit on a throne
Made of rubble and bone
While the rest of us scavenge
Just imagine, if they were thrown to the action


But what would it take
To erase their mistakes
Of a boy left alone
With nothing but all of his sins to atone

Now he waits on the Row
To be sent down below
As he's strapped to the chair
Not knowing that he should be feeling despair

For the hour has arrived
And the sinner must die
Just a tooth for a tooth
And a lie for a lie

In my final days, I find

Always apathetic
They had ostracized you
Never stated why
Letting the tides of life wash over you
Remove the sins you never had at all
