They told you God was far away
Because distance creates control


But if God were distant

And truth wouldn′t make your body react
If God were an idea
Alignment wouldn't hurt
You don't awaken by learning more
You awaken when the noise drops
And what′s real has nowhere left to hide
This isn′t about religion
It's about recognition

God is not impressed by agreement
God is felt when you stop performing
And if something in you is uncomfortable right now
Good
That′s not fear
That's the signal returning

Don′t listen with your opinions
Listen with your body
Because what you're about to hear
