Awakened every day
The blood still fills the veins
Till something comes along
To force another change
Grotesquely born anew
Into another dawn
You try to fight it as
The universe goes on

And you were blinded and
Refused to ever learn
Some things just melt away
And others will not burn
No separation now
The days are all the same
I feel you crawling up from
The bottom of my brain


Another morning now
I exit from the house
Flies on the window
And the sun is coming out
I rise to the surface
Are you waiting for me now?
It′s starting over
When you thought that it was done
Without a reason
It just tortures everyone

I lie awake at night
Pondering the claims
Some stay there with me
While others move away
Were all these images
Just there to bring me down?
Or were my appetites
Just pulling me around?

The undulations in
The answers pouring through
No separation now
Exists between the two
The trail has ended and
It never led me home
Thunder, rain and slow decay
All push against my bones


And still you're pinned beneath
The rocks there in my mind
I feel the wound
It′s getting deeper all the time

Broken and wild
I hear the screams
