We all have some versions of ourselves
And try to hide the dark ones away, hide them away

You want to give the best of you to everyone
But you can′t cope with all the worries of the world
You'd like to be the shoulder where they lean on
But sometimes you′re the one who needs help
I need to find the stillness again inside me
I need to take the shadows away from me


You think because I smile and laugh everything is ok
But you are in the dark on what I have in my head
My fears knock me down so I can not move
I collapse and they don't let me be
And then I close my eyes and start to see
I change weakness for strength
So I can think with clarity
And stop drowning in silence, ooh
