Leaving and grieving about faces and places
That I have known and been shown in my day

Sometimes a tear is all I have to say

It seems to me that heartache and pain
Keep trying to get me to doubt

I remember what this life′s about

When I've put my heart into the care
Of someone I know or somewhere that I′ve been
When it's time to go away, there is despair
And I wonder if I'll ever love again

Then I recount the memories that love brought my way
And I know they were just meant to be
After all there is only one place that I′ll stay for eternity
