Between morning and evening

She got stuck on the highway in the 5 o′clock traffic
Missed the 6 o'clock news
She said I just saw him out there with some girl from somewhere
They were feeling just fine
Was he too tired for love?

Or just tired of lying
She said if leavin′ was easy I'd been gone
Doing what he's done all along

To a cable TV, where her life a screen
