Shapes Songtext
von Duggee & the Squirrels

For this song
I′m going to need to
Plug myself into the computer

Hang on a minute!
Is it working?
Testing

Ahh that's right
Let′s do this!

Shapes!
Let's throw some shapes
Shapes!
Let's throw some shapes

A square has four sides all the same
Like boxes, windows, picture frames
Count the sides, one, two, three, four
Shapes are easy, let′s do more

Rectangles have four sides too
With two sides longer than the other two
Like puzzles, books, letters, doors
Shapes are easy, let′s do more

Shapes!
Let's throw some shapes

Triangles have three sides each
Like ice cream cones on the beach
Like sandwiches and sails on boats
Like party hats and traffic cones

Circles have no sides at all
Like pizzas, wheels and tennis balls
Like oranges or red balloons
Circles are the sun and moon

Shapes!
Let′s throw some shapes

Shapes can have many sides
After four sides we have five
This is called a Pentagon
And if we want we can go on

Hexagon
Heptagon
Octagon
Nonagon
Decagon
Hendecagon
Dodecagon
I've gone crosseyed

Let′s throw some shapes
Shapes!
