We're the Flora Songtext

We're the Flora Songtext
We′re the flora, I audibly exclaim to myself
So perfectly arranged for someone else
These severed branches still grow leaves, unmoored
So why does freedom feel so much like theft?
My hands grow numb from weaving possibility
"ये जड़ें सिर्फ़ हम हैं" what a nice soliloquy
Whatever I may need to be, I'll be true
Perhaps a weed or a lonely peony, either one will do
When we embrace, we coalesce in a shattered vase
And every drop collects to form a shallow lake
They say "all flowers in time bend toward the sun"
So when I find the light, what will I become?
You wear the marks of subcontinental drift
It′s temporary but continues to stick
Fading farther
Floating onward
We're the flora, a coterie bouquet on the floor
Cause every one was made for something more
So when autumn passes, I still ask myself
Why does freedom feel so much like theft?
So perfectly arranged for someone else
These severed branches still grow leaves, unmoored
So why does freedom feel so much like theft?
My hands grow numb from weaving possibility
"ये जड़ें सिर्फ़ हम हैं" what a nice soliloquy
Whatever I may need to be, I'll be true
Perhaps a weed or a lonely peony, either one will do
When we embrace, we coalesce in a shattered vase
And every drop collects to form a shallow lake
They say "all flowers in time bend toward the sun"
So when I find the light, what will I become?
You wear the marks of subcontinental drift
It′s temporary but continues to stick
Fading farther
Floating onward
We're the flora, a coterie bouquet on the floor
Cause every one was made for something more
So when autumn passes, I still ask myself
Why does freedom feel so much like theft?
