All these stoic faces

From spending all your days
Somewhere down there in the mines

Sometimes that darkness
Can crawl into your head
Until the hearing things and seeing shit
Gets you wishing you were dead

But you push past that burden
And build the walls up in your head
'Cause you′ve got mouths at home
And they′re all begging to be fed


They think you're their everything
But they′re really yours instead
They'll miss you through the night
But they′ll love you 'til the end
