Our first topic today deals with how boyhood is under attack
It seems like society is trying to shut down boyhood
We all know that boys are full of energy and enthusiasm
They′re explorers with a thirst for knowledge
However, the majority of children being
Treated for ADHD are predominantly boys
One in seven will be diagnosed before they turn eighteen
That's more than twice the rate in which girls are being diagnosed
Shouldn′t we just let boys act like boys?
There's this pervasive kind of thing out there
With boys as some sort of defective females
Who have too much energy and too much aggression
And they don't share, they don′t talk about their feelings
Are we drugging, uh, boys into, uh, femininity?
