Backbeat Songtext
von Donora

I first heard your stuff when disco was lame
And your band played post-punk in some new way
I made my first beats on an 808
And you had a copy of my first mixtape

Backbeat
All the sounds in the streets
We meet
Everyone that you know
We go
To the parties and discos
Backbeat
All the sounds in the streets
We meet
Everyone that you know
We go
To the parties and discos

I ran into you at the Blackcraft show
You had some time booked at the studio
I plugged my machines through guitar echo
And you plugged your guitars into my machine

Backbeat
All the sounds in the streets
We meet
Everyone that you know
We go
To the parties and discos
Backbeat
All the sounds in the streets
We meet
Everyone that you know
We go
To the parties and discos

We go, we go, we go
To the parties and discos
We go, we go, we go
To the discos
We go, we go, we go
To the parties and discos
We go, we go, we go
To the discos

Backbeat
All the sounds in the streets
We meet
Everyone that you know
We go
To the parties and discos
Backbeat
All the sounds in the streets
We meet
Everyone that you know
We go
To the parties and discos
